Imerjent’s fully-automated systems deliver cost-effective biodiesel production. Permanently-mounted inside inter-modal shipping containers, Imerjent’s modular systems can be transported and set up anywhere, worldwide. Designed to code, Imerjent’s systems are complete when they ship and can be operational within a week of delivery. With a build-out time of approximately 16-26 weeks, customers can begin biodiesel production in the least time possible.

Imerjent’s systems produce 100% biodiesel and are offered in several unit sizes, ranging from 500,000 to 4 million gallons per year. Because our systems can be operated in parallel, customers can install additional units to upscale their production, easily and quickly.

Imerjent systems are cheaper to purchase, and in most cases, cheaper to operate than a large-scale industrial facility. By consolidating the cost of engineering, site design and permitting, into a space-efficient, transportable system, our customers achieve tremendous savings. With Imerjent, individuals and companies are able to produce biodiesel for almost any level or production.

Imerjent's system is designed to conserve energy, as well as to remove any potential negative impact on the environment. Ultrasonic process intensification dramatically increases the rate of reaction with minimal energy input (see Hielscher for more information).

We remove the need for water by using a two-stage ion exchange dry-wash process. Eliminating water wash (commonly used in other systems) reduces production costs, water treatment and water disposal costs. Our methanol recovery system economizes input costs and eliminates the generation of a toxic by-product. The sole co-product of our system is glycerol (approx. 15% by volume).

The system can be powered by electricity or a (bio)diesel generator allowing site location in extremely remote or arid regions. By producing biodiesel at the source of the feedstock, our customers reduce transportation costs.

Conserving energy during production and recycling methanol significantly cuts production costs, and reduces the size of your company’s carbon footprint.

Imerjent’s systems have numerous compliance features, maximizing operational safety. Imerjent systems utilize UL listed components. Our units meet or exceed the following standards:
-International Fire Code (IFC) ratings
-Uniform Building Code (UBC) H2 occupancy regulations
-National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) standards

Imerjent’s systems are highly-automated, which allow the plant to run virtually unattended. When the system requires attention, it automatically alerts a remote operator via a text message. The Imerjent system can also be monitored globally, through an internet connection.
