The first automated biodiesel plant to operate in the
Pacific Northwest is expected to begin operations soon
in Pendleton, Ore.
The $450,000 system, which was designed and built by
Imerjent LLC of Portland and sold to the co-op Pendleton
Grain Growers Inc., is due to ship to Pendleton near
the end of June. The system will have a capacity of
up to 500,000 gallons a year.
