IMERJENT LAUNCHES NEW BIODIESEL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN OREGON

Imerjent LLC, a start-up technology firm, launched in January 2007 to bring an innovative, highly automated biodiesel production system to market. The firm will specialize in manufacturing cost-effective, medium-scale modular systems.

Imerjent systems will be permanently mounted inside intermodal shipping containers and have been designed to facilitate biodiesel production by anyone, at any location. The system uses no water, and due to the highly automated design, can be operated on an unattended basis.

Imerjent intends to manufacture three different automated biodiesel production systems that produce from .5 M to 4 M gallons/yr. Imerjent’s manufacturing facility is designed to allow rapid manufacture of modular systems that can be delivered worldwide to meet the growing demand for biodiesel.

Imerjent was founded by Eric Price. Mr. Price has previous start-up experience with companies serving rapid growth industries. Mr. Price is joined by three other founding Senior Managers, Daniel Shafer, Robert Mack and Brian Oatman. David Handaly joined Imerjent as a Senior Vice President in January. The Senior Managers have worked together in the past, gaining extensive experience in the semiconductor industry.
