Imerjent builds its modular biodiesel
plant in a standard shipping container...
Imerjent LLC has sold
a modular 500,000 gallon-per-year biodiesel processor
to Pendleton Grain Growers Inc. (PGG) in Pendleton,
OR. The automated system was built into a standard shipping
container in Imerjent's factory in Wilsonville, OR.
David Handaly, Imerjent senior vice
president, described it as a landmark project for PGG
which is using a USDA grant to crush and convert its
members' canola into biodiesel for its members and the
city of Portland.
